Cherry Pop Records Unveils 2025 Artist Roster

LOS ANGELES, CA — October 16, 2025 — Cherry Pop Records, UCLA’s student-run music label, is thrilled to announce its 2025 artist roster, featuring the return of Lady Vengeance and the debut of two fresh voices: Bella Andrews and Lily Sturges.

A Cherry Pop mainstay, Lady Vengeance returns for a second year, continuing to electrify UCLA’s underground scene with their raw energy and unapologetic edge. The Los Angeles-based punk band made a striking debut last year with their self-titled EP, Lady Vengeance, a tightly wound collection of tracks that fused gritty basslines, serrated guitar riffs, and hauntingly visceral vocals. With fan-favorites like “Clone Wars” and “Punching Bag,” the band proved their knack for turning chaos into catharsis. Now entering a new creative era in their second year with Cherry Pop, Lady Vengeance is doubling down on their signature volatility without losing the ferocity that made them a force to watch in the first place.

Bella Andrews, a new addition to the label, captures the ache of heartbreak and the search for belonging through an indie sensibility that feels straight out of a 2000s coming-of-age film. A fourth-year Music Industry major hailing from Marin County, Andrew pairs confessional lyricism with wistful guitar textures and melodies. Her sound moves effortlessly between understated, lo-fi inspection, as heard in “3 minutes,” and the more heavy-hitting catharsis release of “Junk Drawer.” With her recent single, “Breakfast,” Andrews marries storytelling with clever, homespun analogies and an infectious beat that draws listeners into her orbit. Now signed with Cherry Pops, Bella Andrews is poised to expand her artistic reach, offering listeners an unguarded look into her evolving sound.

Completing the trio, Lily Sturges brings a moody, cinematic edge to this year’s Cherry Pop roster. A first-year student in UCLA’s Music Industry program, the Los Angeles-based electronic artist moves between alternative R&B, house, and dream pop, weaving subtle rock elements into her production. Sturges approaches music as a visual experience by bridging sound and aesthetics together. Her work is representative of her perspective, through her current experimentation with Western-inspired fashion and modern East Coast prep. Sturges rounds out Cherry Pop’s 2025 lineup with a fresh perspective and forward-looking style that has not yet been seen in the label.

Their upcoming singles—produced, mixed, and promoted entirely in-house by Cherry Pop—mark a new chapter for the label’s growing legacy of championing student talent and creative independence.

Stay tuned for releases, live sessions, and interviews as Lady Vengeance, Bella Andrews, and Lily Sturges step into the spotlight.
